![]() ![]() On my notes about whether to stick with Notion, the top of the page says, "If this is going to be an ongoing timesuck keeping my data organized, it's dumped." That extends to "I will never be completely satisfied with my knowledge of the feature set and will be constantly spending time researching new ideas." ![]() One of the problems I've been having with Notion is that I can see all sorts of power user features other people are using, but I'm still on the learning curve for basic things (like annoyances about how I want to use the Kanban). “Every card a page” more flexible than Trello data structureĭrawback for both: integration with OmniFocus will either be a daily task or a bitch to automate, since not all data should get there. Tagging more visible (but also much more limited)įor non-actionable notes, that’s where I want the data to live in the first place Trello UI seems to fit me better, but would like to evaluate both before I put too much data into either.Īlways on the board, can’t accidentally click away OmniFocus is where all my action items live, but during a workflow it’s not a good place to organize, too fiddly. So I’m still evaluating Airtable for a few things, and I intend to keep Evernote at least until Notion does OCR.īut I’m stuck debating on whether to use Trello or Notion for Kanban. ![]() I’m a big believer in using the best tool for specific tasks, so while Notion looks like it could replace a bunch of things I use (I’m new to it), I think it’s best to use it as an Everything Bucket only when that kind of linkage makes sense. ![]()
